Last Light — Privacy Policy

Who we are

Last Light is an independent survival strategy game, playable at lastguidinglight.com and on Google Play. Questions about this policy go to lastlighthq@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account: the email address you sign in with and the callsign you choose. Sign-in is handled by our hosting platform (Base44), including Google sign-in if you use it.
• Game progress: your rank, experience, best wave, wins and losses, battle history, Daily Challenge scores, Supply Drop items and settings.
• Social features: chat messages you post, friends, battalion membership and player reviews you write.
• Tester sign-ups (/join): your email, the platform you picked, an optional callsign and where you heard about the game.
• Purchases, if the in-game shop is offered in your version: the order details our payment provider sends us. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical data: basic device and performance information needed to run the game, plus standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

Guest play

If you play as a guest, your progress stays on your own device (browser storage) and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

How we use it

• To run the game: save your progress, show leaderboards, match you with other players and power chat.
• To invite testers and send launch news to people who asked for it.
• To keep the game fair and safe: rate limits, cheat checks and moderation.
• To fix bugs and improve performance.

What other players see

Your callsign, rank, title, best wave, Daily Challenge score and anything you post in chat or reviews. Your email is never shown to other players.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that run the game for us: Base44 (hosting, accounts and database), Google (sign-in and Google Play), and our payment provider if you buy something. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. Tester sign-ups are kept until launch news has gone out or until you ask us to delete them. Deleted accounts are removed from our database; backups held by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule.

Your choices

You can change your callsign and settings in the game, delete your account from Settings, or ask us to delete any data by email. See the data deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

Children

Last Light is made for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for big changes, tell players in the game.
