Last Light — Delete Your Data

Last Light is a military defense real-time strategy game. This page explains how you can request deletion of some or all of the data we hold about you, what is removed, what is retained, and for how long.

How to Request Data Deletion

From within the Last Light app (recommended)

If you still have Last Light installed, you can delete your data immediately and securely from the Settings screen — no waiting, no contact needed.

  1. ›Open Last Light and sign in to your commander account.
  2. ›Navigate to Settings (gear icon in the navigation bar).
  3. ›Scroll to the Data Management section to selectively delete individual data categories (battle history, social activity, match records, etc.) without deleting your account.
  4. ›For complete account and data deletion, use the red Delete Account button at the bottom of Settings and type DELETE to confirm.

If you no longer have the app installed

If you have uninstalled Last Light and cannot access the in-app deletion tools, you can request data deletion by contacting us. Please include the email address or gamertag (commander callsign) associated with your account.

Requests are processed within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Data We Collect

Last Light collects the following data to provide gameplay, social features, and competitive ranking. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL.

Commander Profile
Gamertag (callsign), faction, cosmetic preferences, game settings, and competitive rating.
Battle History
Match results, units destroyed/lost, duration, map, factions, and replay data.
Social Activity
Region chat messages, player reviews, player requests, and ban lists.
Match Records
Lobby sessions, matchmaking queue entries, and team rosters.
Friends & Battalions
Friend connections and battalion (clan) memberships.
Leaderboard Stats
Public ranking: games played, units destroyed, and win-rate percentage.
Purchase Records
Transaction history for Flare currency and store purchases (product, amount, date).
Account Credentials
Email address and authentication data managed by the platform.

What Is Deleted vs. Retained

Deleted on Request
  • Commander profile (gamertag, faction, cosmetics, settings)
  • All battle history and replay files
  • Chat messages, reviews, and player requests
  • Ban lists and friend connections
  • Battalion memberships (if you are the leader, the battalion is disbanded)
  • Leaderboard entries and competitive ranking
  • Match sessions and queue entries
  • All gameplay statistics (wins, losses, units destroyed/lost)
Retained (Legal/Operational)
  • Anonymized aggregate statistics — aggregated metrics that no longer identify you are kept for analytics.
  • Purchase/transaction records — retained for 3 years for fraud prevention, chargeback disputes, and tax compliance, then permanently deleted.
  • Data required by law — any data we are legally required to retain is kept only for the minimum period required.
